      How to Match Your Suit to Your BMW

      The Motorsport tricolor only works when it lines up with your fairings. Four steps:

      1. Start with the bike. Pick the grid design closest to your paint, or go custom and send a photo of your S1000RR or M1000RR with your order notes.

      2. Choose your cut. Track days and racing: the one-piece motorcycle suit version. Street with occasional track: the two-piece, whose jacket doubles as street gear.

      3. Approve the mockup. Custom orders get a free design mockup within 24 hours; check the blues and reds against your fairings before production starts. Custom builds are final sale, so this is the step that matters.

      4. Complete the kit. Matching gloves come free with every suit; add a motorcycle balaclava for track days and run the track day gear checklist before your first session.

      Are these official BMW Motorrad suits?

      No. Turbo Racegear is an independent manufacturer with no affiliation to BMW; our suits are original designs inspired by BMW's Motorsport colorways. Official Motorrad race leathers exist and they are excellent sold through BMW dealers at prices well north of $1,000, in rack sizes. We build for the rider who wants Motorsport-color race leathers with CE Level 2 armor, cut to their measurements, at $549 instead. Brand-first buyers should see their dealer; fit-first buyers are in the right place.

      That is what the custom program is for. Send your model year or a photo of the bike, and our designers build a mockup within 24 hours matching the tricolor layout and your name and race number. You revise it until it is right, approve it, and production starts on your measurements. The suit arrives in 4–5 weeks with a free pair of matching gloves. Any grid design can also be recolored to your paint.

      One-piece if the suit is for track days and racing: no waist zip, no gap, and it is what most US track-day organizations require. Two-piece if you also want the jacket for daily street riding; fully zipped together it is accepted at most track days. Every design in this collection is built either way at the same price, so pick the cut for how you ride, then pick the colorway.

      A replica copies a specific racer's suit — livery, sponsors and sizing are fixed, and most sell on pre-order with no stated delivery date. Our BMW-inspired suits are original designs, which means your name goes on the back, your sponsors go on the chest, and the suit is cut to your body on a 4–5 week build.
