Protection Where It Actually Matters

Most crashes start with a low-side and end with a shoulder-first slide. Metal armor sits over the impact points and stays there under load rather than migrating down your arm mid-tumble, while CE Level 2 protectors cover the back and thighs, the two zones that take the longest contact in a slide. Double-layer leather doubles the abrasion budget at the panels that hit tarmac first, and Schoeller® Keprotec inserts at the joints stretch instead of tearing. A 3D air vent panel and the double-layer vented construction pull heat out between sessions, and the mesh lining detaches for washing.

One-Piece vs Two-Piece: Which One Do You Need?

Is this an official Ducati product?

No. This is a Turbo Race Gear suit built in the Ducati Corse colorway and produced in our own facility. It is not manufactured, licensed or sold by Ducati Motor Holding. What you get is the same construction standard we use across our race line: top-grain drum-dyed cowhide, metal armor, CE Level 2 back and thigh protection, double safety stitching and a rear speed hump, at roughly half the price of the factory-branded suit. The graphics, panel layout and color placement are fixed on this model and ship exactly as shown in the product photos.

What size should I order if I'm between sizes?

Size up. Race suits are cut deliberately tight. A suit that feels comfortable standing upright will be loose in a tuck, and loose leather means armor that shifts on impact. But a suit that's genuinely too small will restrict your arms at full lean and pull at the shoulders. Measure your chest at the widest point, your waist at the navel and your inseam from crotch to floor, then check those against our size chart rather than guessing from your jacket size. Top-grain cowhide relaxes noticeably after 200 to 300 miles, so a snug first fit is normal and correct.

How long does it take to ship?

Stock sizes ship within 1 to 2 business days with free express shipping anywhere in the US, and most orders land in 3 to 5 days. If your size is temporarily out of stock you'll be told at checkout rather than after payment. Every suit ships with a free pair of matching gloves. If you have a track date booked and need the suit faster, add Priority Production and Processing at checkout to move your order to the front of the dispatch queue.

How do I care for the leather between track days?

Wipe the outer shell with a damp cloth after each session to lift bug residue and brake dust before it sets. Leave it and it stains. Pull the detachable mesh lining out and machine wash it cold. Condition the leather with a non-silicone leather cream every three to four months, more often if you ride in dry heat. Never machine wash the shell or leave the suit in direct sun to dry; both will shrink and crack the hide. Replace knee and shoulder sliders once they've worn past the raised edge. They're cheap and they're doing real work.
